How would you like to go on a quest?
I’m Gandalf, you are Bilbo and the quest is to reclaim the Dwarvin home under the mountain along with Thorin’s treasure from the dragon Smaug. Your role is be the Expeditions’ burglar. In Warcraft, or “Dungeons and Dragons” parlance your character is a thief. Doesn’t it seem a strange role for a protagonist in a heroic adventure is that of a burglar? Who’d thought that a burglar of all things would be so popular? Never underestimate your role.
Well, I’m not Gandalf and since you are not a Hobbit then I have a different quest in mind. The quest is to join an MGO, or micro-governing organization.
Your role in an MGO is up to you. The role, of course, must fit who you are or want to be. Engineer? That’s my role. Or perhaps Farmer? or Doctor?
This quest you are about to embark on is to build the future and not restore the past such as with Thorin’s quest to re-take the mountain from Smaug. You are not commissioned to steal things like Biblo. No, your commission is to build. And build you will.

Your quest is to sign-up for an MGO and then build that MGO.
Your quest requires doing further research. What is an MGO?
Your quest may involve side-quests. For example, you may need to do things like make Tik-Tok or YouTube videos to find people. Or perhaps you may find a web site that helps to match people. However you get there your side-quests are completed only after thirty people have signed up for an MGO with you in it.
Once you have thirty people then many other quests await. Your party must establish a constitution providing rules to run your society. Then your fellowship must buy land that will house thirty people. Then a year’s supplies of food, water, and energy must be secured. Then and only then is your MGO established and ready to join in with other MGOs to build the future. In some sense one can think of theses quests as a space adventure! The MGO is a spaceship and it needs enough supplies to last the journey. The future is an adventure! Time to put your adventure shoes on!
