TL;DR Rights are immoral, responsibilities supplant rights. Responsibilities are managed by protocols and simply joining an MGO is such an information management protocol.
Freedom of speech and the first amendment are immoral. They are immoral the way all rights are immoral. Rights do not convey the requisite responsibilities that rights require. This makes rights moral intuitions at best and more commonly immoral prohibitions of no responsibility.
I recently watched a Youtube video about QAnon. The topic was elderly parents who had fell victim to the QAnon conspiracy craziness. As typically happens in these discussions the question of remedy came up. How do we fix this? How do we prevent people getting sucked into black holes of fear created by QAnon. As usual the response was crickets. There were no solutions given.
The reason we don’t see solutions to these problems is rights are immoral. Instead we have responsibilities. So first, quit promoting and talking about rights. Instead we need to talk about responsibilities.
This recipe is about protocols of responsibility for managing information as it applies to the human mind.
It is arrogance and bad intuition that our minds can be treated like a fire hydrant. We cannot screw in a firehouse of information into our brains and just turn on the spigot of information at the fastest rate possible, or even an untested rate.
Even today we are seeming glimpses that the public is realizing pumping information into our brain has limits. This year Merriam Webster chose “gas lighting” as the word of the year because of search frequency of that word. One way to think of gas lighting is confusing someone with too much information. Further the information is designed to confuse by use of conspiracy theories.
What information consumes is rather obvious: it consumes the attention of its recipients. Hence, a wealth of information creates a poverty of attention and a need to allocate that attention efficiently among the overabundance of information sources that might consume it.

The Irreni recipe to this problem is to create protocols of responsibility for information. We call information speech today but speech tends to imply that only conversational information between humans is at stake. All information is at stake. Responsibility of speech is better stated as responsibility of information. Responsibility is codified as protocols. Protocols are recipes of rules designed for expected and tested outcomes. Protocols can further be turned into laws as is commonly done in the medical industry.
The reason free speech is a never ending debate online today is that freedom forgoes the underlying responsibility. Forget freedom, talk about responsibility.
Humans have only evolved to have capacity for a finite amount of information. This finite amount is not fixed during life. One can increase the amount of information by reading and other exercises.
My brain is full. Unfortunately we do not have this physical pain for our brain like we do with our stomach. I’ve noticed over the years if I my reading time goes below a certain threshold then reading will make me sleepy. But, that’s about the only “my brain is full” sensor I’m aware of.
One way to think about the QAnon solution is to understand that we do not have sensors for our brain being full and gas lighting is confusion brought on by information overload of damaging types.
The first Irreni Society protocol for managing information is to prevent information overload.
Humans for 200,000 years have lived in tribes of on the order of one-hundred people. This would indicate the first step is to limit our information on the same order. Also there was no reading or writing on a mass scale until 50-100 years ago. Information for our species was limited to sensual experience and conversation of limited diversity for 200,000 years. Is it any surprise that with the advent of reading and even more recent Internet then our brains are not meeting the new capacity to handle this load? Evolution doesn’t happen in real-time.
The Irreni recipe is to focus on the MGO. Join an MGO. Life then begins to focus on the MGO. One of the design goals of requiring a one year capacity of living necessities for the MGO campus is to focus people’s attention to the living at hand. Right now we focus attention on the world at large because we depend on millions in our nations. Our brains can’t make sense of the world-at-large.
Joining an MGO and realizing the requirement to have a one year supply of life’s necessities focuses attention on the MGO. Further, by having a one years supply of living necessities on hand then the perceived national dependency today requiring focus on the world because we depend on it subsides. If another pandemic hits and our MGO has the one year supply of living necessities then we need not be so worried.
Just joining an MGO manages information. Joining an MGO is an information protocol as well as a power protocol. The more power you have over your own life mitigates world dependency and lessons reliance to drink from the world’s fire hose of information.
There are are many more protocols in an Irreni Society for managing information and focusing attention. Let’s talk about a couple to whet the appetite. Let’s introduce the topics of an MGO’s character and also shaping information to promote that character. An MGO’s character is identity within the world defined by its relationship with the world, the services and social responsibilities provided. Shaping information is curating information to promote that character.
MGOs are required to have cyber defense. This cyber defense starts with a virtual private network (VPN) much the same as corporations and government organizations have VPNs to conduct business and shape character. Right now corporations use something called an Internet proxy that use access lists to shape web content. Entertainment and offensive content are routinely blocked for example. A corporation might not want its employees to have access to Youtube and other social media sites so as to prevent distraction on the job.
MGOs will have a better defined character. The better definition is called hot-and-cold networks.
The hot network is the Internet of today. No proxy, no filters. However, social taboos will be instigated to discourage people from spending too much time on the hot network. Further, the MGO community will need to focus attention on the MGO life and this means preventing hot-network time.
The cold network is a curated proxy. The cold network “hangs the beef” for 24-72 hours. The beef is information requested and retrieved from the hot network. The MGO will have an information AI that will shape requested information from the hot network and store it locally to make the information available to the MGO residents. The information is not only censored, but modified. The AI will have 24-72 hours to filter and shape information from the hot network before it drops on the cold network.The cold network design is responsible for not only promoting consuming healthy information tailored to the MGOs character but will also limit the amount of information to prevent overload.
In addition to the hot-and-cold networks there will also be healthcare protocols. Signs of information distress will be monitored and health regimens applied when needed.
The solution today for people becoming victims of QAnon information conspiracy is not QAnon specific. The solution is more general and far more encompassing. We all need healthy information and we all need protocols to avoid information overload.
We all need to join an MGO. Now.
