House AI – Version 1.0

House AI – Version 1.0 described herein is public domain intellectual property. Please make one.

House AI means House Agent of Information.

House AI is a personal defense against information warfare. We’ve all been the target of information warfare since the inception of capitalism. You are most familiar with information warfare known as advertising. Advertising programs your brain. This is war. Coke is everywhere in the world based on a world war waged against everyone in the world.

There really isn’t much we can do about advertising to defend ourselves. In my home state of Maine billboards are not allowed. This is how little defense exists against advertising. Until now.

House AI is a box that fits easily in your hand. It acts as a WiFi router. The House AI connects to external WiFi and then your personal devices connect to the House AI WiFi. The initial device will be WiFi only, but eventually the box will be cellular enabled.

House AI Version 1.0 can be thought of as an ad blocker, however, in order to avoid the large tech companies from blocking House AI then House AI is a recording device, not a blocker. It includes the latest Chrome browser and accesses all web content as would a user. However, House AI records all content in real time. Once recorded the AI removes all ads and makes the content available offline.

House AI then acts like TiVo. Users queue up things they want to watch. House AI records it. The content becomes available with all ads removed.

House AI is a permanent ad blocker because it is not a blocker. It is a recording device that initially records the content with the ads. Then the content is scrubbed or sanitized. The content is then published to the internal House AI web site to be viewed.

But that’s not all.

We all want advertising for things we actually need. For me, I want local services in my home town of Hermon, Maine. So, House AI can be programmed to display advertising on an internal dedicated advertising page. The user programs the House AI with the services and products the user desires. The user then goes to the advertising page and sees just ads for desired products. For example, I’m currently looking for landscaping services. I could also use my driveway black-top patched. I’m always on the lookout for new restaurants. I would list these items in a list of products and services I’m interested in.

How ads are created and chosen is a topic unto itself and not discussed here. In short this is a public library concept where books are free to borrow. A library of ads is curated by librarians. The ad content is described by people with products and services to sell to libraries. Librarians create the ads, much like the telephone companies created phone book ads as text only previously. Ads are not click bait. They are information. Advertising then is free match making service between customers and businesses. The librarians are not paid by advertisers, but by public funds the same as book librarians. Communities will need to decide what skills an ad librarian needs.

House AI ensures ads are no longer information warfare controlling your brain. Ads are a public service helping people conduct their lives.

So that’s it. House AI, Version 1.0 is a WiFi device that removes ads. It removes ads by first recording content and then makes that content available on an internal web site controlled by House AI. The internal web site includes an advertising page where users list items and services they are looking for. Ads are free to post. Ads are curated by publicly funded, community librarians. Ads are free to post because money is the information battlefield.
